This is how you know Spring is here. You won't find Mama bird with her babies because she's out and about gathering food for them. Every Spring, birds make their nest on a pillar holding up the roof of my front porch. This little mama has 4 little ones to take care of. And when she's not busy feeding them or fighting other birds to protect her babies, you'll find all 5 of them huddling in the nest occasionally peeking their tiny little heads out to the rest of the world.
