You wouldn't think you'd find backtrails such as this in the city of Fullerton. This particular 12-mile loop is affectionately called The Fullerton Loop. It's a perfect blend of urban views and back-residential dirt paths for those looking for a close-to-home escape from the 9-to-5 grind. But this track isn't for the faint of heart. 600-foot elevation changes are in store for you, but the downhill paths are extremely rewarding for adrenaline junkies like myself. Be prepared to dodge foot traffic on the weekends, as this path is shared with walkers at some points. It's a scenic trek through suburban Fullerton that will leave even the most seasoned biker satisfied. Needless to say, it's one of my favorites loops.
