Where would I be without Netflix? HBO did it again with another Emmy-nominated series, making its way through the postal service and into my Blu-Ray player. "Generation Kill" highlights a platoon of young but highly trained Marines leading the charge of American forces during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. It is based on the non-fiction book by Rolling Stone scribe Evan Wright. The series has been hailed as the most realistic portrayal of war in the Middle East. I can't explain how. It's just something you'd have to see for yourself. "Generation Kill" is easily now one of my favorite shows.
